About Kisa

First things first: Kisa ("Lisa" with a "K") Koenig (prounounced Kay-nig)

My business started walking on its own two feet about 8 years ago, and has been growing every since. I specialize in wedding and portraits and I love that I get to surround myself by wonderful people and happy occasions on a regular basis. I get excited every day that I get to go to work because I absolutely love what I do.

My roots are in Cincinnati, Ohio, and I often go back and visit there...and am certainly available for shoots there...but currently, I live in Driggs, Idaho with my husband, two sons, a dog and a cat. We look at the Tetons every day from our front window (the "backside" to Jackson Hole) and marvel that we live in such a beautiful place. I arrived here after 6 years in the San Francisco Bay Area where I studied photography and started my craft.

Currently, my life is a big pile of chaos, and I love it. I'm a mom to two little boys, who keep me moving all day long. I'm passionate about photography, and it weaves its way through my personal life as much as being my business. I don't find many moments to sit and read a book...something I cherished in my single days...but that's ok. I've been given the most blessed of tasks to take care of my kids and family and I know I'll get my "me" time back some day.

I also love attending weddings. I especially love photo booths.
