I have 3 kids and do as much volunteering at their schools as I can. My eldest son is in 2nd grade and is part of an amazing afterschool program put together by the Teton Science School. I LOVE this program and wanted to donate some of my time. We decided the kids might have fun learning a little about photography, and having the opportunity to take some fun photos of each other. I brought in a backdrop, one light and my camera. Many props were also rounded up and here’s just a sampling of the fun we had with these kids K-grade 3. Seriously, how awesome are kids?? If you look closely, you may see my Owen…look for a baker’s hat, a sword and a lei. My Instagram feed has a few documentary photos of the shoot too!
I should also let you know that I didn’t take ANY of these photos…they were all shot by their fellow students.
