summer mini sessions | part 1

I was like a nervous bride checking the weather over and over again. It looked like it could go either way last Saturday for my round of summer mini sessions. That morning, I convinced a few people scheduled in the evening to take an earlier spot since the weather was supposed to arrive in the afternoon. That turned out to be a great move, and all shoots happened without rain. It was just a beautiful day. I’m always bad at editing, so I’m going to have to break up the blog post of the mini sessions. Here’s part one.

I started the day with Ben’s family, and they were so much fun! Ben is a sweet and fun little boy that enjoyed running around with me, and also cooperated with our more posed shots. My next family was equally well-behaved and you can just tell how much love they have for each other. I honestly got a warm, fuzzy feeling in my chest when I was editing these at how special these photos will be in the future when the kids grow up and move on.
